Grokking the Incomplete Theory

Unpublished

Don’t you want to know the meaning of life, the truth, the fundamental question of the universe? And not just number 42. But that’s not a bad place to start, and to you probably would go looking first in maths, that pure landscape of abstract ideas. That’s what the pythagoreans did, and when they encountered the first irrational number they banished those that held this inconvenient truth.

So perhaps maths is a good place to start, however not so quick - Godel proves this can never be used. You might also look in quantum mechanics, but you just keep digging and digging and getting more uncertain. Perhaps there is no truth, just endless questions, more and more complex answers. Perhaps, like the meaning of life for absurdists, the truth may or may not exist, but we will never be able to understand it.
