DFW

When I write it’s usually full of self-consciousness, irony, feel like I have to have the fourth wall firmly down, not to break the illusion of fiction in the name of honesty and truth. I don’t feel comfortable misleading, results in stories that and dripping in doubt and no lineation. Nobody want the character of me in there, however he finds himself inserted regardless.

With DFW, he’s very much the same, however the character of himself is welcome, is full of such interesting reflection and self doubt, that he’s instantly relatable, in fact you only want him there, to ride along inside his mind, with all his neurotic thoughts.
